Prime Minister’s secretary and senior bureaucrat Rajeev Topne has been appointed as Senior Advisor to the Executive Director of the World Bank in Washington. On Thursday, the Ministry of Personnel issued an order in which information was received in this regard.

Brijendra Navneet has been appointed as Ambassador to the World Trade Organization in Geneva, Switzerland, and a permanent representative of India. Navneet has served in the Prime Minister’s Office.

Rajeev Topno is an officer of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) batch at Gujarat in 1996. Navneet is a 1999 batch IAS officer of Tamil Nadu cadre. He has been Joint Secretary in PMO from July 2014 to September 2019.

These appointments are also important because due to the Coronavirus epidemic India is facing an economic crisis and this organization plays an important role in various business-related activities.

Senior IAS officer Ravi Kota has been appointed Minister (Economic) at the Indian Embassy in Washington. He is an Assam-Meghalaya cadre officer in 1993 batch IAS. Central Secretariat Service officer Likha Thakkar has been appointed Counselor at the Indian Embassy in Beijing, China.

H Atheli, a 200-batch officer of the Indian Civil Accounts Service, has been appointed as advisor to the Executive Director of the Asian Development Bank in Manila, Philippines.

N. Ashok Kumar has been appointed as a consultant at the Indian Embassy in Brussels, Belgium. He is a 2004 batch IAS officer of Manipur cadre. The tenure of all those officers will be three years, according to the order.
