Lahore: On Monday, the Lahore High Court issued a notice to the Pakistani government pleading with former President Pervez Musharraf to stop the sedition case proceedings pending before Islamabad’s special court.
Through his appeal, the application by Musharraf has asked the High Court to find all proceedings pending against him in a special court illegal as a traitor against him. In its article, the Pakistani newspaper provided this detail.
In the much-awaited and long-awaited case of treason, a three-member special court is expected to announce its verdict on Tuesday, i.e. Tuesday, but a new twist has emerged in the case following the direction of the High Court. The Lahore High Court agreed to hear the petition along with the key request for trial, issuing a notice to the government. Explain that after hearing the Government Prosecution Party’s claims, the special court also said it would give its decision on December 17 in this case.
