Today on 9th November 10:30 AM, the Supreme Court’s judges announced the Ayodhya verdict. In this historic judgement, Supreme court allotted the disputed land for Lord Ram temple and asked government to create a committee to build temple and provide 5 acre of alternate land to sunni waqf board to build mosque.

Most of the prominent leaders and peoples have responded by accepting the Supreme Court’s verdict and shown faith in Indian judiciary. PM Shri Narendra Modi responded to verdict by saying “The Supreme Court has delivered its verdict on the Ayodhya dispute. The decision should not be viewed as someone’s victory of defeat. Ram bhakti or Rahim Bhakti, this is the time for us to strengthen the spirit of ‘Bharat Bhakti’. I urge people to maintain peace and harmony”.

“SC’s Ayodhya judgment is notable due to several reasons – It highlights that any dispute can be amicably solved in the spirit of due process of law. It reaffirms the independence, transparency and farsightedness of our judiciary. It clearly illustrates everybody is equal before the law.”—PM Modi
