On July 8, at the Kutno Athletics Meet in Poland, she won her second 200 m gold. Braving a sore back, the Assam runner had clocked 23.97 seconds to win the gold while Kerala runner V.K. Vismaya had a timing of 24.06 seconds to grab silver.
On July 13, with a time of 23.43 seconds, she won her third 200 m gold at the Kladno Athletics Meet in the Czech Republic.
Hima Das returned to the 400m competition with a season-best time of 52.09s. Hima has won five gold medals in the last 19 days in five different competitions in Europe. Hima though narrowly missed out on the World Championships qualifying mark of 51.80s in 400m.
