A shocking announcement in today’s parliament session by the Home Minister Amit Shah. He announced that article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir will be no more applicable. Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir scrapped “at once.”
The era of bloodshed comes to an end with the end of 370 in Jammu and Kashmir said by home minister Amit Shah in today’s parliament session. Article 370 and 35(A) is scrapped “at once” with the presidential order. The announcement was made after Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Cabinet meeting at his house this morning.
8,000 paramilitary troops from different states send to Kashmir preparing for any trouble happens in the state after the announcement in addition to this 35,000 personnel moved in the past week.
Removal of article 370 and 35(A) leads to an end of special status given to Jammu and Kashmir. Decision-making rights for all matters barring defense communication and foreign affairs come to an end, which was key to accession to India in 1947.
Jammu and Kashmir will no longer be a state it will become two Union Territories with two lieutenant governors. Jammu and Kashmir will have a legislature while Ladakh will be a union territory without a legislature. The bill will easily pass in the Parliament as the number of the regional parties come out in the support of the government’s move.
Before the announcement of this huge step
Government has followed massive builder by sending the troops in the valley and a night where senior leaders were placed under house arrest including the former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti Mehboob. The mobile networks internet and cable TV were forced out of service in Jammu and Kashmir. All the Educational Institutes and officers work forced to be closed and groups have been banned to gather in Jammu and Kashmir.
Tourist and outside those were asked to leave the state the Amarnath Yatra and annual pilgrimage was canceled.

The government receives support from opposition leaders like Chandrababu Naidu, Arvind Kejriwal, and Mayawati. BJP alliance with Nitish Kumar’s party was among them who opposed the move whereas BJP Alliance Shiv Sena was in the support of the move.
“The government of India (GOI)’s unilateral and shocking decisions today are a total betrayal of the trust that the people of Jammu & Kashmir had reposed in India when the State acceded to it in 1947. The decisions will have far-reaching and dangerous consequences. This is an aggression against the state’s people as warned by yesterday’s all-party meeting in Srinagar, “Omar Abdullah said.
