The center said some airlines have started booking tickets from 4th May, but the government has taken no decision regarding the same. Thus, all airlines have been asked to refrain from booking tickets.

On Sunday, Maharashtra recorded an increase in the cases making the highest number of COVID-19 cases in a day with 552 people testing positive, taking the state tally to 4200.

India reported its youngest death due to COVID-19 when a 45-day old baby died at a hospital in Delhi. Doctors have called it a very rare case, all the family members including the parents are now being tested for COVID-19.

In a LinkedIn post titled ‘Life in the air of COVID-19’ PM Modi said that COVID-19 does not recognize man-made distinctions before striking and our response to it must be based on unity and Brotherhood. PM Modi urged India’s youth to take the lead in providing a new work culture through digital platforms.

The home ministry has revoked the permission given to E-Commerce firms to sell the nonessential goods from April 20, 2020. These companies can only sell essential items until the end of the nationwide lock time on 3rd May.
